Core Concepts
Workflow Canvas
Draw your supply chain processes as visual diagrams that EasyFlow executes automatically.
What is the canvas
The workflow canvas is a drag-and-drop visual board where you draw the exact steps your supply chain process follows. It is purpose-built for supply chain workflows — procurement approvals, stock replenishment, supplier coordination, and logistics handoffs.
Node types
| Node | Use it when… | Key settings |
|---|---|---|
| Request | Someone kicks off the process | Form fields, who can start it, ERP trigger event |
| Approval | A person needs to say yes or no | Assignee, deadline, escalation rule, condition |
| Notify | The team needs to know something | Recipients, channel (email/Slack), message template |
| Action | A system task runs automatically | System target (ERP write-back, webhook), payload |
| Branch | The path splits based on a condition | Condition field, comparison operator, value |
| End | The flow is complete | Outcome label (Approved, Rejected, Cancelled) |
Connecting nodes
Hover over any node to see the connection handles on each edge. Drag from one handle to another node to draw an arrow. Arrows represent 'what happens next'. You can have multiple arrows from one node — for example, Approved goes one way and Rejected goes another.
Execution
Once you activate a workflow, every run is tracked individually. You can see the current step, who's assigned, how long they've had it, and whether any escalation has fired. The full timeline of every action is preserved as the audit trail.
